Sabine Fischer is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of BB Alternatives GmbH, Cologne, an independent consulting firm specializing in alternative investments for institutional investors. The company supports investors primarily in the selection and due diligence of alternative investment funds (AI funds) and serves as an outsourcing provider for economic and regulatory reporting.

Before founding BB Alternatives, she and her colleague Alexander Bode managed the private markets portfolio of Gothaer Asset Management AG, focusing on asset classes such as private equity and private debt, as well as a range of direct investments in German mid-sized companies. Between 2000 and 2007, Sabine Fischer worked at Ernst & Young in Düsseldorf and London in the Transaction Advisory Services division, where she handled various buy-side and sell-side mandates, primarily in the energy, chemicals, and utilities sectors.
