Elmar Schobel, Partner at KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, has been supporting the asset management industry for more than 25 years. He is a member of the Investment Committee of the Institute of Public Auditors in Germany (IDW-FAIN) and is involved in various committees for the Sustainable Finance Agenda. Elmar Schobel has extensive experience in auditing the annual financial statements of financial service providers and the annual reports of investment funds. He advises asset managers, asset servicers, custodians and institutional investors on procedural, organizational and strategic issues as well as on various investment law and accounting issues.
