Susanne Schenker, EU-Kommission

Susanne Schenker is a lawyer and has been a seconded national expert at the European Commission since January 2024, where she works as an officer in the Sustainable Finance Unit of the Directorate-General FISMA. Her work focuses on the usability and coherence of the sustainable finance framework and the coordination of the Platform on Sustainable Finance. Previously, she worked at the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) in the Strategy, Policy and Governance Division of the Sustainable Finance Center and was responsible for the policy area of the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR).
