Volker Braunberger began his career at Coopers & Lybrand (later PricewaterhouseCoopers Management Consulting) after completing his training as a banker and subsequent studies in business administration (Dipl.-Kfm.). After a successful five-year stint advising financial institutions, Volker Braunberger took on the role of Managing Partner at itechx GmbH.

Over his more than 25-year career, he has successfully implemented numerous projects for national and international banks and asset managers. His professional focus has been and continues to be on the "securities business" and "asset management."

In the past 3-4 years, Volker Braunberger has leveraged his deep technical and regulatory knowledge to explore new technology applications for banks and asset managers, increasingly focusing on blockchain (DLT) based technologies.

As a result, he has also professionally solidified this focus. He spearheaded the founding of INTAS.tech GmbH, a subsidiary of the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and Plutoneo Consulting GmbH, which began operations in Q2-2021, where Volker Braunberger serves as CEO. Additionally, in early 2021, he founded the FinTech start-up "Funds On Chain GmbH," which is developing a platform for the DLT-based settlement of investment fund shares. There, Mr. Braunberger holds the role of Product Owner, ideally combining his professional expertise with the development of a market-oriented, disruptive technology platform for investment funds.
