Terms of Participation BAI Private Debt Symposium and Data Protection Policy
The following terms and conditions apply between the participants of the BAI Private Debt Symposium 2025 and the Bundesverband Alternative Investments e.V. (BAI) as organiser. Please read them carefully as they contain important information in connection with the BAI Private Debt Symposium. By registering, you automatically agree to the terms and conditions. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions, we will not be able to accept your registration.
One week before the BAIPrivate Debt Symposium 2025, our sponsors will receive a list of participants containing the following information about all participants: Last name, first name, company. This list does not contain any other information. If you do not wish your name and company to be passed on to the sponsors, please let us know immediately at events@bvai.de, or klick the respective buttion when registering. We will then not include your name in the list of participants.
1. Participation Fee
The participation fee includes access to the conference rooms, snacks, drinks and lunch on February 6, 2025.
You will receive a confirmation and an invoice after receipt of your registration. BAI e.V. as organiser reserves the right to reject registrations. The participation fee is due 14 days after receipt of the invoice, without deduction. Please note participant name and invoice number on your payment receipt. Participation can only be granted if your payment is received by the BAI on time. If you transfer the invoice amount later than five bank working days before the event date, please send a copy of the payment voucher to events@bvai.de in the morning of the BAI Private Debt Symposium.
If you have registered in the wrong category, your registration will automatically be converted into a registration in the correct contingent. We will inform you of this in the confirmation so that you can immediately object to the registration, for example due to a higher fee. If you register for a contingent that is already fully booked, the registration will automatically be converted into a paid registration. We will inform you of this in the confirmation so that you can immediately object to the registration due to the fee.
2. Cancellations
If you are unable to attend the event, a substitute participant can be provided at any time. Please let us know the name of the substitute as soon as possible. The ticket is not divisible. Cancellation until December 31, 2024 is free of charge. Cancellations between January 1, 2025, and Januyr 24, 2025 will incur a processing fee of 50 euros. Cancellations must be made in writing (letter, e-mail). The basis for the calculation of a cancellation is the date of receipt of the notification by the organizer. For cancellations received by BAI after January 25, 2025, the full invoice amount shall remain with the organizer without deduction. In the event of cancellation by the organizer, the fee paid will be refunded in full; any further claims are excluded.
3. Changes to the Conference Programme
The organiser reserves the right to make changes to the programme in terms of content, time and location for good cause. We accept no liability for printing errors. The place of performance for all claims is the organiser's registered office (Bonn).
4. Consent to Official Photographs and Recordings
Please note that photographs and/or video recordings will be made during the event/lectures and will also be used for publication after the conference on the internet and in print media.
Unauthorised photography and/or recording/transmission of audio or visual material, data or information during the conference (including taking screenshots) is expressly prohibited (see also § 201 StGB).
5. Data Protection Policy
If you wish to participate in BAI Private Debt Symposium 2025, we will collect, process and use the following data:
Mandatory data: Title, first name, last name, position/department, company, street, house number, postcode, city, telephone number, e-mail address. Your data will be collected, processed and used by the BAI for the purpose of processing your registration and invoice and will also be forwarded in this context to third parties who have been commissioned to carry out the event and who are obliged to comply with the GDPR, in particular the technical and organisational measures pursuant to Art. 32 GDPR.
Furthermore, our data protection policy applies.
