Michael Teigeler has been the managing director of Stadtwerke Heidelberg Energie GmbH since 2008. He began his career after completing his training and studies in electrical engineering and business administration in the sales department of an electrical wholesale company. In 1998, he transitioned into the energy sector as a Key Account Manager at Stadtwerke Düsseldorf AG. From 2001 to 2008, he served as Head of Key Account Management and as an authorized officer at Trianel Energie GmbH. In 2022, in addition to his role as managing director of Stadtwerke Heidelberg Energie GmbH, he assumed the position of chairman of GEODE Deutschland e.V.
