Dr. Heinz-Werner Rapp, FERI Cognitive Finance Institute

Dr. Rapp is the founder and director of the FERI Cognitive Finance Institute, which was established in 2016 as a strategic research center of the FERI Group. The Institute's work is based on the proprietary cognitive finance theory, which offers novel approaches to explain real economic and capital market processes. 

Dr. Rapp was CEO of FERI AG and CIO of the FERI Group from 2006 to the end of 2023. He is the author of numerous books and specialist articles, including on concepts such as behavioral finance, nonlinear dynamics and complexity theory.

Dr. Rapp studied economics at the University of Mannheim, where he also completed his doctorate with "summa cum laude". As a former scholarship holder of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, he represents fundamental liberal positions.
