Jyri Hietala is the CEO of UB Nordic Forest Management Ltd., which is the entity responsible for the management of United Bankers’ Private Equity (AIF) forestry funds. He was a Board Member of the Finnish Forest Economics Forum from 2017 to 2020. Jyri joined United Bankers in 2017 from PTT/Pellervo Economic Research, where he was a Forest Economist since 2010. Prior to that, he was a Research Assistant at Aalto University School of Science and Technology since 2009. Jyri holds a Ph.D. in Forest Economics and Marketing from the University of Helsinki.
