AIFM Federation Austria

The AIFM Federation Austria, established through the association of Alternative Investments, founded 2003, represents the interests of all participants in the capital market, which are regulated by the AIFM-rules and are engaged in Austria. In the focus of the association’s work are the support of members in the implementation of AIFM-arrangements, the cooperation with national and European legislations and the public relations for the AIF-industry. With the help of regular conferences and practical workshops, AIFM Federation Austria supports the mediation of specific knowledge and informs institutional investors about actual information regarding investments.


AIMA, the Alternative Investment Management Association, is the global representative of the alternative investment industry, with more than 1,900 corporate members in over 60 countries. AIMA’s fund manager members collectively manage more than $2 trillion in assets. AIMA draws upon the expertise and diversity of its membership to provide leadership in industry initiatives such as advocacy, policy and regulatory engagement, educational programmes and sound practice guides. AIMA works to raise media and public awareness of the value of the industry. AIMA set up the Alternative Credit Council (ACC) to help firms focused in the private credit and direct lending space. The ACC currently represents over 80 members that manage $500 billion of private credit assets globally.  AIMA is committed to developing skills and education standards and is a co-founder of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation (CAIA) – the first and only specialised educational standard for alternative investment specialists. The CAIA Charter program is a rigorous, self-directed education program for finance professionals. The CAIA designation is granted upon successfully passing two levels of exams and meeting membership requirements.

Diplomica Verlag

Since 1996, the Diplomica Verlag in Hamburg publishes books about several different core points. The program in the academic and economic field covers reference books of all academic areas, essays, dissertations and final papers, as well as studies in economics and science. Moreover, nine book series about several topics were published so far: Sustainability, Health, Social Media, Ager, jus novum, certain forms of company, international projects as well as the series of Alternative Investments. Besides the field of economics, Diplomica publishes books and eBooks in fiction, non-fiction, literary studies, reprints and Media Services. In cooperation with BAI, Diplomica Verlag established the book series “Alternative Investments”. The books are available in the book store of the publisher itself.

EBS Finanzakademie stands for excellence in executive education for finance professionals and has been acting as a trendsetter for the whole industry. Swiss Funds & Asset Management Association SFAMA

The Swiss Funds & Asset Management Association SFAMA (SFAMA), which was established in 1992 with its registered office in Basel, is the representative association of the Swiss fund and asset management industry. Its members include all the major Swiss fund management companies, many asset managers, and representatives of foreign collective investment schemes. Among the SFAMA’s members there are also numerous other service providers operating in the asset management sector. The SFAMA is an active member of the Brussels-based European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) and the International Investment Funds Association (IIFA) in Montreal.
